This single-storey residence is planned as a cluster of interconnected pavilions, oriented with north at the top to optimize daylight and ventilation in the semi-arid climate of Jamkandorna. The layout wraps around a central living and dining core, creating a sheltered, inward-looking composition that enhances privacy and thermal comfort.Bedrooms are positioned along the quieter edges for seclusion, while semi-open verandahs and shaded spill-out spaces buffer the interiors from heat gain. A water feature on the southwest side moderates microclimate conditions and introduces evaporative cooling. Native tree clusters and curvilinear pathways integrate the built form with the natural landscape, reinforcing a rural Saurashtra character.

The composition balances openness and enclosure, ensuring cross-ventilation, shaded outdoor living, and climate-responsive comfort suited to the region.
